Melissa was born and raised on a dairy farm in Southwest Missouri but now calls Arizona home. Although now her time is spent more on the football or lacrosse fields watching her three kids play sports, she never forgets the work ethic and the focus on family that growing up on a farm has taught her. Melissa is very passionate about health and fitness – she even spent a few years as a personal trainer and even started her own Strong Mom weightlifting class! She enjoys hiking, working out with her early morning bootcamp crew and going for runs or bike rides with her husband. Melissa also loves her dog and cat and might quiet possibly spend as much time talking about them as she does her own children!
Melissa has worked in the security industry in a variety of roles over the last 18 years. She feels that she is not only there to provide a service to clients in the financial planning process, but also to help teach them along the way. She believes there is never a question too silly to ask. Her hope is that with each client she works with, they walk away from the conversation feeling that they have someone to help walk beside them and their advisor on their financial journey.
